Mamaway Ring Sling Review

Over the past couple of years I have used different carriers for my daughter (she is now 2.5) and I love trying new ones out. She doesn't like to be worn as much now (she prefers to run free...which I do not prefer for her!).

I received this ringsling from mamaway in exchange for my honest review and figured that was the perfect opportunity to test out a new (to me) ring sling and then add it to my new mommy gift basket for the next baby shower I attend.

I saw the reasoning on another post regarding the use of nylon rings versus metal and I think that's a great idea. Being able to transfer sleeping baby without worrying about waking them is a major thing for a new parent (or a seasoned parent with a new baby!).

The fabric is great and works for just about anyone...it is gender neutral for baby and parents! Ring slings are a great option when baby is smaller because you can keep them close while they sleep or breastfeed.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Eye-Popping Oddities! Review

I have always been interested in Ripley’s Believe It or Not items since I have yet to make it to a museum (I live too far away!). This book is amazing. It has so much information and you receive a large book filled with crazy facts for such a great price. You will find “eye-popping oddities” for just about every imaginable category – whether it be animals, tattoos, bugs, plants, accidents, food, etc.

There is something for everyone in this book and even some things you will wish you never saw or heard of so be careful with some photos and stories as they are not for the faint of heart! I believe this book has made me a fan and I may need to add to my collection because it's just fun to learn new things.

Check their book out here for $14.99

Desk Flag Review

I was given the opportunity to receive and review a custom desk flag from www.deskflags.com and overall I am satisfied with the quality. The flag itself is made from vinyl and is on a flag pole with a tip that is not overly sharp. It also came with a clip so you can clip it to your desk.

The company sent me a custom flag with my company's name on it along with the American Flag in the background. I think it is a good quality and would work for personal or professional usage.

I also did a video review which I posted on YouTube and shows more detail than my photo does justice for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUUSc1jhJYI

Tooth Fairy Pillow Review

This tooth fairy pillow is really cute and I'm excited for my daughter to get older so I can use this with her (she's 2.5 currently). The pillow is well made from a felt type material. It has a really cute pocket on the back that you can place the tooth in and then exchange it out for the money. I think this will be a great little keep sake to have.

They have one for girls and one for boys if you are interested in gender specifics (I'm not but I did receive the "girly" one. Either way I think they are both adorable!). They also have them in the shape of an owl, monkey, ninja, pirate, and kitty cat. This is available for purchase on Amazon for $15.99

INTENSIVE WRINKLE FREE ANTI AGING EYE CREAM Review

First Botany's wrinkle free anti aging eye cream is perfect if you're a (single) mom like I am and need help hiding your age after your child has helped age you even quicker! I have been using it on and off for a couple of weeks. I have noticed some difference but believe I need to use it more consistently to tell fully.

I love that this company advertises they are cruelty free and do not test on animals. This product is meant to be effective at firming and plumping the skin, quickly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and addressing the issues of puffy eyes and dark circles under eyes.

Fast Mile Car Sunshade Sock Review

This car sun shade sock is a very interesting concept that I had never seen or thought of before. You just roll it down over your door frame and it fits tight like a sock or a glove. You can still roll your window down and don't have to worry about the sun damaging your child's eyes or making them super hot. It helps keep them cool and safe back there.

I admit this is a strange concept for me and I may not use it on a daily basis but I will definitely use it for my daughter around town (especially in the summer - Charleston heat can be intense!) or on road trips when she will be in the car for a long period of time. It also came with a bag to keep the car sun shade socks in when you are not using them.

These are currently out of stock on Amazon but here is the link so you can check back.

ThatsNice Bath Toy Organizer Review

If you need a way to keep your child's bath toys housed in one spot then look no further than the ThatsNice mesh bath toy organizer. You need to get a mesh bathtub toy organizer to make your life easier. No more looking for that toy around the bathroom when it's bath time. And when you want to take a bath without your little (yes, that can happen again..ONE DAY) then you can easily keep the toys out of your way by having them in one spot and out of your way.

If you don't need one in your home then these are also great gifts for any parents you know. I have three of these in my house..one for each bathroom and then a spare to give as a gift.
