Premium Bear Claws Review

My family cannot say enough awesome things about this product. We love to barbecue and also cook meat in a slow cooker. This is PERFECT for shredding chicken that has been in the crock-pot all day and needs shredding for tacos (I do crock-pot salsa chicken tacos!). It's also great for non meat items like tossing salads and fruits. 

These claws are super sharp and well made so I can tell they will stand up to the test of time and last us a while which is saying a lot for a household in the south that loves to cook out. If you are hesitant on getting a set like I was just don't be. Splurge and try them out - you won't be sorry. I'm so glad I finally took the plunge and decided to try these out because I know they will make life so much simpler...they're so large and easy to hold so I'm able to shred my meat with ease and a quickness which is quite necessary in a house with a toddler ("Hungry mama, hungry!!")

Vanguard Safety Magnetic Safety Locks Review

As the mother of a toddler I jump at the opportunity to review new baby products especially when they are safety products. Needless to say when I was given the chance to receive and review Vanguard Safety magnetic safety locks I was pretty excited.

These magnetic safety locks are pretty awesome. Most child safety devices are noticeable. These however are hidden behind the cabinet doors and you have no clue it's a child safety locked cabinet until you try to open it without the magnetic key. The concept is pretty genius...kids typically want to play with things they notice but they won't see the locks so they won't be drawn to the cabinets. Of course they are drawn to cabinets naturally but at least this won't add fuel to that fire.

These are adhesive with 3M which is a great brand and holds up really well. I definitely recommend these if you need to baby proof your home! It's perfect because you don't have to worry about using screws and damaging your cabinets. That's great if you are renting because then you don't have to worry about losing out your security deposit or needing to make repairs to screw holes.

Magnetic Bottle Opener Review

I was offered the opportunity to receive and review a magnetic bottle opener. This is a pretty awesome item. It has hidden magnets to catch the cap as it falls so long as you open the bottle correctly. 

The bottle opener is a matted nickel finish which is a good color for most spaces. One of the best things? They provide you with the screw so you can mount it! My dad wants me to get him one for his garage (he is a self employed mechanic) so he can have a nice cold one after he's done with work for the day. I'm also considering getting another for my boss' conference room because it has a pretty awesome wet bar already so this would just be amazing in there.

I definitely recommend getting at least one for your home and maybe giving one as a gift - Christmas is coming up! I haven't had a chance to actually set mine up so I have included a photo from their Amazon page. I'm in the process of remodeling and possibly moving so I don't want to place it somewhere and then have to move it all over again.

Hamptons Baby Caring Corners Review

I was pretty excited to be offered the chance to review this 8 pack of corner guards from Hamptons Baby. I honestly wish I would have ordered these sooner. My daughter is now two and while she did not bump her head often I was always scared to death of it! I really like that they are clear so you can still see the pattern of whatever you put them on (like marble counter tops!) and they are so easy to use. You just clean the service, peel the stickers, and place them. How simple is that?? I definitely recommend these if you are in the market for some baby proofing items for your house.

She is still clumsy at times so I did apply them in a few areas around my house that are eye level for her currently. We have a shelving area we built next to the fridge and she trips an awful lot so we decided to put one there so if she tripped and fell down she wouldn't hit her eye on the corner because that scares me like you wouldn't believe!

What night? Wine Glass Review

I have ordered a few products from Got Me Tipsy and I highly recommend their products. They come well packaged so you don't have to worry about the glass breaking or cracking during transit. In fact, the packaging is so great that you could immediately take from the Amazon box and wrap for a gift. I'm big on wine in my home and love collecting different and fun wine glasses. This one was no different. "What night? Great night. Good night" is a great addition to my wine glass collection and I love this glass. I'm not scared of breaking this glass like I am other glass items I have received in the past because I can tell it is well made and they put a lot into their products.

Aegend Fitness Speed Jump Rope

I love how light weight this jump rope is. I have reviewed a few different ropes on Amazon and this ranks as one of my favorites. I prefer it over the endurance and cross fit jump ropes I have ordered in the past. It is light weight and more of your traditional jump rope. I LOVED jumping rope as a child so finding something along the lines of a traditional jump rope that is more sturdy was exactly what I needed.

The rope is adjustable so it could be used for the entire family but be aware that you have to remove the handle and tie a knot each time the length needs to be adjusted. While this isn't a huge deal for me it could be a hassle to others...so if that is a hassle for you then I recommend just buying an extra for your other family member so you don't have to worry about that each time.

If you are interested in a traditional type jump rope that is more sturdy than your childhood jump rope I recommend you head on over to Amazon where you can purchase it for $9.99 - that's way better than going to the store because the price is amazing AND they will deliver it to your door for you!

Our House Gluten Free Mix Review

I know we all have at least heard of  gluten free. Whether it is because you  know someone that eats a gluten  free  diet  or  you have  just seen  it advertised in grocery  stores  or at restaurants. Well, I was super excited when I was given the  opportunity to receive and review  Our House Gluten Free mixes. They sent  me gluten free  cornbread  mix and gluten  free pancake/waffle  mix  so  I made them both complete with LOTS of photos so you can see just how great their mixes truly are.

I started off with their pancake mix one Sunday morning. I decided to try it with berries and whipped cream because that just sounded like a delicious breakfast to me. I didn't find this to be much different than any other pancake mix out there when it came to ingredients (eggs, oil, milk) so you don't have to worry about whether or not you have the ingredients on hand.

Looks like your normal pancake mix...nothing crazy or funky here!

I decided it would be fun to use my new bear shaped frying pan to make my two year old bear shaped pancakes. I was hoping that it would be something fun and cute for her to better entice her (she can be difficult with food sometimes!)

I think the finished product came out looking pretty awesome. And it tasted absolutely delicious. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a new gluten free pancake/waffle mix. You can not even tell the difference between this and a "normal" gluten filled mix!

Then I got to try out the cornbread the following night with dinner. We did a traditional southern style dinner with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, greens, and cornbread. YUM!

As you can tell it mixes like normal!

I fit it in one pan...I think I should have used two though!

As you can see my cornbread came out looking delicious. I was so excited to eat it (and my dinner) that I forgot to take a photo before I cut into it. Sorry about that guys! But just know, it's YUMMY and I would recommend anything from their brand. It is pretty amazing.
